With the development ofcomputer technology, internet has become an important part of public’s life. Recentlywe have done a questionnaire among middle school students in order to exploretheir opinion on surfing the Internet.
In our research, the benefitsto surf the internet mainly fall into three sections. The most popularadvantage is the abundant resources on internet. With simple clicks on computerwe can approach to various kinds of information over the world. Secondly,surfing the internet is time-saving. We don’t have to go over all parts of onebook to find out the useful information. What’s more, internet enables us tocommunicate with friends easily, whenever and wherever.
But still the internet has somedisadvantages. Firstly, the content of internet is not always good. Secondly,if we are addicted to computer games, it will lead to a bad influence on ourstudy. Last but not least, too much concentrating on the internet might alsoaffect our health, including shortsightedness etc.
