这里用的虚拟语气,必须用过去时态表示.表示假使这种情况的发生会明白那些导弹是否被发射.
whether those missiles were fired.They will know whether we met our challenge.
紧接着下面的这个whether跟前面的whether表达同样的意思,所以同样用过去时态表示虚拟,即使的情况.这种事情并未发生,只是假使的情况.
