My Future
Good afternoon,everyone.I am from xxxxxx.I am very honored to stand here and give you a short speech — My Future.
Have you ever heard this song " My Future Is Not a Dream"?I like this song because it gives me confidence and hope whenever I sing or hear it.A person's life is not only long but also short as well,which should be well planned by us.I think that every person has his own future plan.Of course,I am no exception.
In fact,after I graduated from the middle school,my academic records were high enough to allow me to choose a high school.However,I decided to go to this vocational school and had Project Budgeting as my major.I have had a future goal in my mind.I hope I can become an expert in project budgeting in the future.Some of my friends and former classmates couldn’t understand me.They asked me,“Why do you made such a decision?“ I have my own idea about that.I think I can learn some knowledge in a vocational school,which is more interesting,which is more useful,which is quite different from that in a high school.On the other hand,I have been influenced a lot by my father,who is engaged in architecture engineering.My father often tells me about something about the field of architecture.I get to know it and be interested in it.So,I make my mind to do what I really want to do.
In order to realize my future goal,I shall prepare for my future career in the following aspects.First of all,I shall enrich my knowledge scope and enhance my knowledge basis to improve my personal overall quality.Therefore,I should not only learn general knowledge courses but also professional subjects as well.Then,I should try my best to master professional knowledge as well as possible and as much as possible,for professional knowledge is directly and close related to my future career.Finally,I should take part in various extracurricular activities to enlarge my vision,to improve my personality,to build the spirit of team cooperation and to practice what I have learned in class.I believe I can achieve my future goal as long as I insist on performing as I plan.
We should be ready to meet our future right now.Time waits for no man,so we should make good use of every minute and every opportunity to do what we can do to realize our own future goal.A dream may not be certain,but my future is not a dream because my future is in my own hands!
