The Chinese Film Week opened with a film named The Park in the Israel port city of Tel Aviv. The Chinese Film Week was part of the cultural event entitled “Experience China in Israel”, which aimed to let Israelis know more about China.

mentality(思想) of the ordinary Chinese people, and also the skills and abilities of Chinese film industry at present,” he said.
The cultural exchanges of film between China and Israel are increasing in recent years. An Israeli Film Week with seven films was held in Beijing in 2007 and a Chinese Film Week with ten films was held in Israel in 2008.
The opening film The Park, which was produced in 2007, tells the story of an old-fashioned father and a modern daughter who can’t stop hurting each other though they love each other deeply. Other films included A Battle of Wits, You and Me,A World without Thieues and The Silent Holy Stones.
