这两个用法到底有什么区别?

not the same as = different
the same as ……是一般的固定用法吧,指“与……等同”,相当与（be） consistent with……
same 和 with不是固定组合,你可以说 I distributed the loafs to the seated people,and did the same with the fish.这里with 含有“关于”或者"对于"的意味,直译来看就是,对于鱼我做了同样的分配.其实same和with的分开的,不是一个短语.
不知道说明白了没有.
