我期待已久的假期,她悄悄地来了.
　　不知不觉中,节日的气氛越来越浓了,使我不得不尽早做完手头的作业,以便无忧无虑的来好好地迎接新年,但又觉得迎新年又缺点什么.前思后想,又无结果.直到有一天,下雪了,下大雪了,出门望见了白茫茫的一片,踩着厚厚的白雪,我的心中忽然来了灵感,对,新年就需要些喜庆的东西来装点,那就是雪人!
　　我们都知道下雪是个好兆头,古人曰：“瑞雪兆丰年”!殊不知,雪更是孩子们特别喜欢的玩具,如果无聊时,可以堆雪人,如果高兴时,可以与朋友们打雪仗.我决定堆雪人,一来展示我高超的手艺,二来增加一些热闹祥和的新年气氛.
　　第二天,就开始了我“图谋”好的“雪人计划”.我想堆雪人很简单的：滚两个雪球,再简单布置一下就可以了.但事实并非如此：滚了个大雪球当作身子,结果太胖,无法“长上”头了；太小又单薄、畏缩,失去了憨态模样的可爱.后来慢慢琢磨、反复试堆,才做的不大不小,做出来的效果也不错,我很喜欢.这就是在做雪人的头部时,要想头部和身体相搭配,还需要动脑筋.两部都完成之后再加以修饰.把这些主要的做完后,我已经累得坐在地上不想起来了.看着还有一半未完成的“佳作”,想着我的“第一雪人”即将出世,我就再加把劲努力干.开始做雪人的眼睛、鼻子、嘴.我用弟弟平时玩的弹子当作雪人的大眼睛,用胡萝卜做鼻子.但拿什么当嘴巴能让它欢笑呢?没办法,只好找一小段弯弯的树枝来当作欢笑的嘴巴吧.然后用长树枝来做一个邀请的手势.一切完工之后我为它取名为“欢迎”,意思是欢迎亲朋好友们的到来.又给它戴上了帽子,围上我心爱的围巾,让它不畏严寒,坚守在自己的岗位上,为我家带来祥和喜庆.我高兴得和弟弟围着雪人蹦蹦跳跳,你追我赶来庆贺!
　　高兴之余,才觉得自己很累、很累了,当我把目光再次停留在雪人上,感受到的却不是劳累与辛苦,而是快乐和兴奋!也只有这时,我这才对妈妈常说的“事非经过不知难”,有了新的体验和感悟.这就是：做什么事都是不容易的,需要付出劳动和智慧,才能体验到发自内心的兴奋和快乐,体验到成功和幸福
　　我多么想留住这令人快乐、高兴的假期!可是,在人们的欢声笑语中,我的假期,她又悄悄地走了.

Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English.
