以上句型分别举一个例子，

1）A is 倍数 + more + adj./adv.的原级+ than + B－－more+原级＝比较级
翻译：A是比B多出几倍(或者 A是B的“几+1”倍).
例如：
The Yangtze River is almost twice longer than the Pearl River.
长江差不多比珠江长两倍.（长江是珠江的三倍）
The book is exactly five times more expensive than that one.
这本书比那本恰好贵5倍.（这本字典是那本书的六倍）
2）A is 倍数 + as + many / much + as B－－原型为：倍数+ as + 形容词/副词原级 + as
翻译：A的数量几倍于B那样（多）－－many一般加可数名词,much加不不可数名词
例如：
His books are twice as many as mine.
他拥有书的数量两倍于我的（书那么多）.
This book is three times as long as（three times longer than,three times the length of）that one.
这本书的篇幅是那本书的3倍（即长两倍）
If you charge twice as much as that,you’ll scare customers off.

3）A is 倍数 + adj.比较级 + than + B＝A比B多……倍
例如：
This room is two times larger than that one.＝This room is twice larger than that one.
