Preparing a Meal
Mom and dad are going out today.Therefore,I have to prepare some meals for me and my sis to take.I am somewhat nervous so I wake up early in the morning to start preparing our breakfasts.I get us some oatmeal porridge and milk for morning.My sis decided to help me out in preparing the lunch so we just get started an hour before lunch to do some preparation.There are some noodles,eggs,meat,vegetables,fish and rice left in the refrigerator.I think that will be enough for both of us to have a plate of fried noodle by that afternoon.I add some meat and eggs while frying the noodles to variety our diet.Honestly,even it seems terrible but it is way more delicious than its look.After lunch,we just spend our time by watching the TV.We have some rice,fried fish and veg for night.It is really a disaster when frying the fish; it is more difficult than frying the noodle.We take a long time to clean up the mess in the kitchen.Although we decided to wait for mom and dad to come home,we were exhausted in preparing meals for ourselves.As a result,we just went to bed without waiting for them.
Protection of Environment
There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years.One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air,water and soil.The polluted air does great harm to people鈥檚 health.The polluted water causes diseases and death.What is more,vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.
To protect the environment,governments of many countries have done a lot.They are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.In my opinion,to protect environment,the government must take measures that are even more concrete.We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying humankind themselves.
My Favorite TV Program
My favorite TV program is Happy Dictionary.
First,it is a good program,which helps us to learn more.The knowledge we gain in class is limited,so it is important for us students to learn more after school.It makes us have a better knowledge of our life and society.
What鈥檚 more,the program is very fun and relaxing.It is suitable for not only students but also the whole family.It contributes to the communication between the families.It helps live happier and happier.

Spring Festival
There are many holidays for Chinese people,such as National day,May Day,etc.However,Chinese people look on spring festival as their most important one of all.Known as the Chinese New Year,it is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses,have their haircut,and buy new clothes.Dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a family reunion occasion.The first day of the New Year is the time when people visit their friends and wish each other good luck in the New Year.
In addition,it is my favorite festival,especially when I was a child,because In those days,I could have a plenty of delicious food to eat,enjoy a very long holiday and wear beautiful clothes.And what is more important is that I could receive much new year's gift money.Therefore,every year,I expected the spring festival would come soon.After I grew up,it is no longer as important to me as before,for I can have my delicious food and wear my favorite clothes every day.It is as if I am having spring festival every day!

My Computer
I think the most interesting thing in my family is my computer.My father bought it for me 3 years ago.

The Changes in Our School
I have been in this school for five years.In the past five years,quite a few changes have taken place here.On one side of the road,there is a new classroom building.On the other side,where the playground was three years ago,now stand another new building-our library.The playground is now in the front of the school.We have also planted many trees in and around our school.I think our school is much more beautiful than before.
