In recent years there has been a growing concern for the environment and car manufacturing company have to take responsibility for the environment.This has led to considerable discussion on the life cycle of car manufacturing companies’ products.
Background
As the fast increase in the number of cars,causes massive release of carbon dioxides (CO2) that contribute to the serious problem of global warming.The car manufacturing companies has attracted attention and make some environment policy.
Purpose
This report will look at two famous car manufacturing companies and evaluate the environmental information provided on their websites.
1.3 Criteria
The criteria used in this report are based on those proposed by two famous factory,including Volvo and Toyota.These are:
\x05How many information about Sustainability could find in their official website?
\x05When were they pass the ISO14001?
\x05When are their latest GRI report?
\x05What the famous things they have done?

建议修改为：
In recent years there has been a growing concern on car manufacturing company have to take responsibility for the environment.
“近年来,对于汽车制造商应对环境负责的关注持续增长.”
第二句,你把product life cycle - 'PLC' 这个固定词组拆开,能否这样我不确定,不建议拆开.
不拆开,句子还简单一点.建议considerable去掉.除非你明确要表示这个讨论影响深远、程度巨大.
建议修改为：
This has led to a discussion on the Product Life Cycle of car manufacturing companies.
background部分基本OK
只是最后的...companies has(?) attracted attention and make some environment policy.不太理解你的意思.汽车制造商吸引到许多注意,并制定了环境政策.这不是并列的关系,用and有点怪.如果是因为被注意到,才制定政策的.那至少应该是递进关系了.
语法问题我水平有限,基本就这些.除此之外,看你这报告估计是学商科的.
如果是交作业的话,从报告角度来说.
你的四个criteria我有点儿建议：
sustainability 如何体现在网站上我不太明白,或许你有其他见解,但一般持续性指政策持续性吧?
ISO14001这项标准应在background部分介绍到.
同样,GRI report也应在background部分提到.
what the famous things they have done?这个问题有点无厘头,如果报告关于汽车制造商的eco-friendly policy或PR campaign的话,应确切一些.不要突然来一个做过什么有名的事迹?显得离题.
