1 People don’t understand me. They call my Kitty, Pussycat, Cat-dear, and a lot of other funny names. People don’t seem to realize that I am only a cat! I am not kitty, or the sweet little Pussycat, or the big, fat cat, I am just a cat!

Today, many American people would like to live in such houses but most can’t. they usually don’t have enough money to buy them or even to make the first payment. So many people have to rent from month to month. But some Americans really want to live in a house of their own. So they buy a house that lies in an area where houses are cheaper. It is better to live in a bad place of town, they think, than not to live in a house at all. Or they buy an old house and design it again. Then they fill it with old-style furniture. Sometimes they can make an old house look more beautiful than a new one.
Usually it is not difficult for people to find an old house to buy, because many older people think that they don’t need a big house after their children leave house.
