I wonder if we could make it some other time if it is conveniernt?
Well, I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner tonight.
这两句为什么一个用I wander if , 一个用 I was wondering if .如果是时态问题的话,那么第二句可以改成I wondered if you would like to go out to dinner tonight 么

这两种从语法上是比较不出道理的,只是在“语气”上有不同的讲究.
I was wondering ...这种句型多见于口语,这种语气带着“小心试探”的暧昧或羞怯,存在怕被拒绝的心理成分.
I wonder if .这种句型仅只是比较客气的征询语气.
