需要指出,“现在分词只能修饰事物,过去分词只能修饰形容人”的说法是错误的.
例如：
1.He's interested about the book,because this book is interesting.他对这本书很感兴趣.这本书很有趣.——这是最常见的,也容易让学生产生以上误解的例子.
2.He’s interested about Mary,because Mary is interesting.他对玛丽很感兴趣,因为玛丽很有趣.——这里玛丽作为一个人,然而不用“Mary is intinterested”.
3.The interesting look on his face make me interested.他脸上有趣的表情,让我很感兴趣.——这里look前用interesting修饰.
为什么?
根据词义判断.
他的表情让人兴奋还是他的表情看起来兴奋?表示前者就用现在分词,表示后者则用过去分词.根据句意,显然题中应是“他兴奋的表情表明……”而不是“他让人兴奋的表情表明……”
非谓语动词基础知识：
interest、excite、disappoint这类动词表示：“使感兴趣”、“使兴奋”、“使沮丧”,绝对要记住这个“使”字.而他们的现在分词表示主动,过去分词表示被动.
