last month i went to disneyland
Last month, I went to Disneyland with my son. We were so excited. We left home
as early as 7:00 am. It was about a 2-hour drive, but the traffic was too heavy.
It was already 11:00 am when we got off the bus at last. I was so tired after
the long journey that I wanted to do nothing but relax when
we got to Disneyland. But my son jumped and shouted out when he saw the Disneyland characters.
After we ate lunch inside Disneyland, we began to walk down Main Street, and saw
Fantasy Land and Adventure Land. However, when we were ready tovisit Tomorrow Land,
a worker told us that it wasclosed that day because it was under construction(建设). My son was alittledisappointed. But he soon was attracted by many other
interesting things.
When we were going to leave Disneyland, a crying girl passed by us with her mother. Looking at the CD in my son’s hand, she said, “Mom, I also want a CD which has Mickey’s autograph.” What a sad girl!
To my surprise, my son ran to the girl and gave his signed Mickey Mouse CD to her. The little girl stopped crying, and thanked my son over and over.
Before I could say a word, my son ran back and smiled at me, “Mom, it’s a great day, isn't it?” I smiled at him, not only because of what he said, but also for his kindness.
