Doctor and patient
A good evening to you ladies and gentlemen. I am glad to give a speech to you, here we go.
How do you find the relation between doctor and patient. I think most of you will think from the perspective of the teacher. Now, because error guidance of public opinion, doctor and patient become two sides in society. How sorrowful it is.
What is the reason for this? I think there are three reasons. The first, people always think that patients are disadvantaged minority and doctors act bad guys. But most of the time, it is completely opposite. Doctor who is considered to be bad is bullied, no one believes that. So some doctors are angry and do not worry about patients any more. There form a vicious circle.
Second, there are some medical dealers and unscrupulous lawyers. They make the relation even worse.
Third, some family members of patients are rule. They know little about medical. Some patients die from diseases which can not be cured. But they think everything caused by hospital. So they break into hospital and affect public order. Some doctors and nurses are hit. It is real happen to me. My mom who is the leader of a hospital is surrounded by thirty. It is really a terrible experience!
Anyway, the relation between doctors and patient is getting worse and worse. What can we do to deal with this problem? I think our government should reform our medical system, they should pay more for free treatment. Make everyone is able to see a doctor. And they should work harder to protect doctors and nurses, they are not only service personnel but also Chinese citizens, they have person peaceful plenary rights. And we should have laws which against medical dealers. As doctors, we should pay more attention to our patients, and be patient to them. As patients we should be tolerance to our service personnel, they are not machine.
So if we do like this, may be we can make the relation better.
I have a dream, one day, when someone is ill. He won’t say “jiuyi” or ”qiuyi” but “see a doctor”!
