Now I want to introduce my experience on how to study English well. English includes five basic parts :listening ,writing ,speaking,reading and translantion.
Listening and speaking are the most important ones in them.My advice is practice makes perfect.You know you can get a lot of material on www.putclub.com ,and you can test yourself,do some dictation.Of course ,at first ,you must know English.
Speaking,you can get up early ,find a quiet place and read aloud .The best way is follow the tape.That’s an old way but effective.Then we can talk to each other in English.You will find it interesting.
Our teacher told us to read books as much as I can. ,which I dare not to forget.I seldom read the adapted ones,but the original ones.Force you to do things beyond your ability,and then you will get accustomed to it.By the way ,you can enlarge your vocabulary.
Reads more and then you will write well ,that’s the truth.Certainly you should learn the grammar well and some sentence patterns.Use clauses and phrases,exact words will help you get out of pile.
Translation is not required within English Majors.
