I’m happy to get your e-mail. Helen I’d like to be your friend. There are three people in my family: my father, mother and me. We live together in Changsha, Hunan. My father is an officer, and as a result he is very strict with me. My mother is a Maths teacher. Every Sunday she helps me with my maths homework. With the help of my mother, I got pretty high marks in last Maths exam. I am very thankful to her. However, father and mother are all too busy to accompany with me.
As for my school, it is called Newtown High School, located in the centre of Changsha,whcih is a very famous high school. Although our school is very wide, there are only 2,000 students in total. How about your school? Is it big or small?
Changsha, where I live, is a historical city of China. There are many famous places of interest which you may look forward to. One of the famous places is Yuelu Mountain. It is located at the west of Changsha. There are a lot of famous universities around Yuelu Mountain. For example, Hunan University, whose predecessor is Yuelu Academy. Yuelu Academy has a history more than 1,000 years, so that it is known as "Academy of Thousand Years". Moreover, Tianxin Court is also a historical site. It is at the city centre, near my home. It is an ancient gate tower. Tianxin Court was built in 1746 and has an area of 864 square metres. It was the higest architecture in Changsha at that times. Nowadays, it is acknowledged as one of the sigh of Changsha City. Are you attracted by the history of Changsha? Why don't you come to Changsha in summer holidays and enjoy its ancient cultures?
