Study of clay
泥塑是我国民间的艺术,在民间俗称“彩塑”、“泥玩”.它以泥土为原料,用手工捏制成形,然后涂上颜色,就变成了漂亮的泥塑.不仅好玩而且很漂亮.在我的房间里有一个小泥瓶,这可真是我呕心沥血的创造啊.

在一个双休日里,在我的要求下爸爸妈妈带我去学习泥塑.我和爸爸妈妈走进了学习泥塑的课室里,一个老师马上走了过来,和蔼地说：“小朋友,是不是要学习怎样制作泥塑啊?”我回答道：“是的.”我说完后,老师便把我带到一个制作泥塑的桌子前.老师说先示范一次给我看.说完他拿起一包陶泥,然后打开,举着陶泥,重重地摔下去,再揉合.老师告诉我这样可以将陶泥中的杂质混合,没有裂迹.经过老师的摔打、揉合,第一道加工工序完成!然后老师就开始制作一个花瓶,他把陶泥放在托盘上,一边拉动托盘,然后用手把泥巴越捏越高,花瓶逐渐成形了,接着,老师把捏好的花瓶拿出来,开始捏花瓶的瓶口.老师那灵巧的双手,把原来的一块泥巴捏成精致漂亮的陶土花瓶,让我好生羡慕.

老师示范完后,就到我亲手来做了,我决定也做一个小泥瓶,于是我也学着向老师一样把陶泥摔打、揉合,

然后把泥巴放在托盘上面,用手把泥巴捏得高高的,捏好后就开始捏瓶口了,由于是第一次学习泥塑,总是把瓶口捏得歪歪扭扭,这里凹下去,那里有凸起来,试了好几次都是这样,我开始有点灰心了.“怎么搞的,为什么总是捏不好啊!”就在我抱怨的时候.老师在一旁鼓励着我,“别灰心啊!做什么事都要认真,不怕挫折,不气馁!”于是在老师的鼓励和指导下,我终于捏好了瓶口.整个小泥瓶已经捏得有模有样,有板有眼了.做完后,老师把我的泥塑拿进高温箱里,不一会儿,我的泥塑出“炉”啦!我满心欢喜的在上面涂了橙色,看起来就像一个盛水的小缸.就这样,我的泥塑做好了,今天这节泥塑课,真是很有趣呢!

经过那次学习泥塑的经历,也让我懂得了一个道理,就是做事情只有经过不断地努力,遇到挫折不气馁,这样才能把事情做成功.
