1.Today is Mid-autumn festival,it is one of the most important festivals in China.My mom was busy in the morning because we had a big dinner with my relatives tonight.We went to the supermarkets to buy a lot of food and fruits,and so do moon cakes.
During the dinner,we ate,talked and laughed.We enjoyed the food and mooncakes.
After the dinner,my cousins and I went to the park to play.The moon was full round.We lit up the lanterns and played around in the park.It was fun!
2.Today is Chinese festival----The Mid-Autumn.It falls on the 15th of August.The Mid-Autumn is a very important festival.We have three-day hoildays in this year's Mid-Autumn.My mother bougth moon cakes.Today is Mid-Autumn.I had erhu class for one hour in the morning.After lunch I had physics class for two hours.Then I went home.I saw my little brother in my home.I was really happy.He and me played computer games and watched TV.After supper we enjoyed the moon and looked for Chang'e.We ate moon cakes.They were delicious.We had fun on this Mid-Autumn.
3.Mid-Autumn Festival The 15th day of the 8th lunar month The joyous Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth moon,around the time of the autumn equinox（秋分）.Many referred to it simply as the "Fifteenth of the Eighth Moon".
This day was also considered as a harvest festival since fruits,vegetables and grain had been harvested by this time and food was abundant.Food offerings were placed on an altar set up in the courtyard.Apples,pears,peaches,grapes,pomegranates（石榴）,melons,oranges and pomelos（柚子） might be seen.Special foods for the festival included moon cakes,cooked taro（芋头）and water caltrope（菱角）,a type of water chestnut resembling black buffalo horns.Some people insisted that cooked taro be included because at the time of creation,taro was the first food discovered at night in the moonlight.Of all these foods,it could not be omitted from the Mid-Autumn Festival.
4.Hello.Do you know what festivai the lunar Aug.15th is?Yes,it`s Mid Autumn FestivaI.In that evening.My famiIies and I eat moon cakes ,eat fruits.together.Sometimes,we have a BBQ in the evening.Many famiIies often getogether ,they enjoy the moon.The moon is round and bright,it `s very beatifui .Do you like Mid Autumn Festival I think so .Because Mid Autumn Festival is a great festival!
