Good morning,everyone!Today,I’d like to do a presentation about the EXPO 2010 Shanghai China.
EXPO is the economic and cultural Olympics of the world and a competition among nations,and the Expo 2010 will be held in shanghai from May 1st to October 31st,covering 184days,with a theme of “better city,better life”.Great changes have taken place in Shanghai during past a few years and more and more people throughout the world are focusing their attention on Shanghai now.To shanghai,the bid to hold the EXPO is not only an honor but also a responsibility.
As we all know,the Expo is coming!Such a great event makes us cannot help waiting in hope.We have only ten days from the EXPO opening,so I am looking forward to this event while with a bit nervous in heart worrying that whether shanghai could bear the world critical sights.
In Shanghai News Report,a section called “EXPO,we are ready!” is showing recently.In the program,many transportations show their contingency plans they established for the upcoming EXPO,such as the steering project when the flow is too large in someplace and the measure of bus-transfers in short duration when some bus lines break down by accident.
Last weekend,I took a bus with my suitcase.Because the bus would drive close to the EXPO sites,a staff on the bus immediately came to me and asked what was carried in the suitcase,which leaves me a deep impression of the high intensity of the public transportation inspection.Then I feel full confident of the security work of the World EXPO.
As the EXPO approaching,great changes also happened around us.Campus activities,not only the performance played by the dance group of our school,but also the attention week organized by our college,all focus on the world EXPO.
The EXPO is not only a professional and remote exhibition for each of us.It comes into our lives through the air and pass among us through our breath,and I believe that most of us in the class have already been one of the volunteers for the EXPO 2010.Yesterday,I saw a lot of EXPO volunteers swearing their orals on the New Bund and began their work for the EXPO.There are also many volunteers appearing in our campus.Wearing in the identical uniforms,they look like the most beautiful scenery in Shanghai.
Seeing the crowd in front of the EXPO volunteers station and the countless smiles on the poster for the EXPO 2010,I begin to believed that China will surely make a successful EXPO!

do a presentation 做演讲一般用make 或者说give you a presentation,do这个动词太宽泛了.
the EXPO 2010 Shanghai China.这是比较书面的说法,在演讲的时候可以直接说Shanghai Expo
, and the Expo 2010 will be held in shanghai from May 1st to October 31st, covering 184days, with a theme of “better city, better life”. 此句完全可以自成一句,把前面的,and去掉反而显得简洁顺畅.
many transportations show their contingency plans they established for the upcoming EXPO 此句中两个动词,要么把they去掉,要么改成从句which they established...
Because the bus would drive close 此处的because有点突兀,可用since

but also the attention week organized by our college这句让人不明所以,attention week这种说法太牵强了,可以直接说校园世博宣传周“publicity week”
