The average global temperature and concentrations of carbon dioxide ( one of the major gases) have fluctuated on a cycle of hundreds of thousands of years as the Earth’s position relative to the sun has varied .As a result ,ice ages have come and gone.
However , for thousands of years now, emission’s of greenhouse gases that atmosphere have been out by greenhouse gases that are naturally absorbed , As a result , greenhouse gas concentrations and temperature have been fairly stable. Now, humans have increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by more than a third since the industrial revolution. The rapid rise in greenhouse gases is a problem because it is changing the climate faster than some living things may be able to adapt. Also, a new and more unpredictable climate poses unique challenges to all life. With concentrations of greenhouse gases rising, the remaining ice sheets on the earth are starting to melt. The extra water could raise sea levels significantly. As the temperature rises, the climate can change in unexpected ways. In addition to sea levels rising, weather can become more extreme. This means more storms, more rain followed by longer and drier droughts, Changes in the ranges in which plants and animals can live , and loss of water supplies . Scientists are already seeing some of these changes occurring more quickly than they have expected. According to some scientific report, eleven of the twelve hottest years occurred between 1995 and 2006.
Question
What can we infer from the last paragraph? A. Scientists are seeing some challenges. B. Scientists’ predictions are not always accurate. C. The changes are occurring more quickly than what scientists have expected. D. We had 11 hottest years between 1995 and 2006

解题思路: 推论题的做法就是一文章内容为依据, 但是文章明确给出的答案不要选, 要通过文章给出内容推出准确答案。
解题过程:
选B。 根据Scientists are already seeing some of these changes occurring more quickly than they have expected.
