No sooner had they arrived at the school than we offed them a warm welcome .Greeting us with smiles, they also accepted a bouquet of flowers given by us. Holding the photo, I recognized Bill, who was going to be my pal, instantly. After a brief introduction, we set out to my home. Considering the distance from school to home, I led him to the subway station. It was the developed subway system that was discussed on way home. Minutes later, Bill opened the door to see a table of palatable meal. With much gratitude, he shook hand with my father. During the next few days, we had a sightseeing around Beijing. Standing on the great wall ,he was shocked by the splendid architecture. Days later,we visited the Olympic park. I took a photo for him in front of the national stadium in order to eternalize his enjoyment. Finally came the time for departure. Giving away a kite to him, I received a present from him as well. We waved them for farewell and we didn’t leave until the figure of the bus faded away from afar. What impressed me most was the sense of taking my own responsibility to host others. What’s more, it also makes me realize the significance of promoting chinese culture.

No sooner had they arrived at the school than we offed them
解题思路: 能够严格按提示内容进行写作,行文流畅,语言富于变化,要点齐全。并能合理进行发挥,成功地运用了复合句及一些其它的语法难句。但是叙述过于冗长,好多地方有中式英语的影子。
