我们老师说选B，但是为什么那？我知道这是宾语从句，但是我搞不清这个句子的从句里面主语是谁啊？不是应该是the population of Nanjing么？如果主语是the population of Nanjing的话，谓语动词不是应该按照陈述语序放到后面了吗？怎么还会是is放到what后面，难道what在这里作主语吗，要是what真的做主语，请拜托举几个宾语从句中疑问代词作主语的例子出来吧。叩谢。。

what在这个宾语从句中做主语，what is the population of Nanjing这个就是陈述语序了，符合“主谓宾”的语序。如果按你的理解，the population of Nanjing是从句主语，那么按陈述语序，从句顺序应该是the population of Nanjing is what,而不会是what the population of Nanjing is了，因为如果是这样的话，what在这里根本没有起到任何作用，既不是主语也不是宾语。
其他例子也是一个道理：I don't know what is your name.或者He is wondering what is the truth.之类的宾语从句，注意看这些句子的特点，都会有比较明显的A is B这种结构，如果是“A B is”则不符合语序了。
